History of Our Venue

Nestled next to Lake George in Andover Central Park, the Capitol Federal Amphitheater® is the premier outdoor concert and event venue in south central Kansas. This vibrant addition to the Andover community offers magical nights under the stars for fans and artists alike. The open-air setting adds to the intimate band performances and captivating shows of this dynamic hub for entertainment and celebration.

With a capacity of 5,200 and serving a metro-area population of 635,000, Capitol Federal Amphitheater is owned by the City of Andover and managed, operated and booked by ASM Global. It’s anchor event is Greater Andover Days.

Established in 2018 this amphitheater has earned a reputation of bringing in an array of top-notch talent that draws crowds from near and far. Acclaimed artists and acts such as Richard Marx, Rick Springfield, Night Ranger, the Plain White T’s, Fuel, Melissa Ethridge and Keb Mo have all graced the stage in this stunning natural setting. The Capitol Federal Amphitheater is a beloved crowd-pleaser where the stars appear on the stage as well as in the sky.
